Skilled Regional (Residence) Visa
Skilled Regional (Residence) Visa (Subclass 887)
If you hold one of the following visas and you have lived in a Specified Regional Area for at least two (2) years, have worked full time in a Specified Regional Area for at least one (1) year and have complied with the conditions on your visa, then you are eligible to apply for Skilled Regional (Residence) Visa. Must be holders of the following visas:
- Skilled – Independent Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 495)
- Skilled – Designated Area – Sponsored (Provisional) visa (subclass 496)
- Skilled – Regional Sponsored (Provisional) visa (subclass 475)
- Skilled – Regional Sponsored (Provisional) visa (subclass 487)
| Residence in a Specified Regional Area | Must have lived for at least two (2) years in a Specified Regional Area before lodging your visa application |
| Work in a Specified Regional Area | Must have worked for one (1) year in a Specified Regional Area. |
| Eligible Visa: | Must hold an eligible Visa |
| Location: | You and all secondary applicants included in your application must be in Australia, when you lodge your application for this visa and at the time that a decision is made on your application. |
